THRESHOLD DESIGN

Editorial
2026

Threshold Design is an evolving archive of ideas. It is a deliberate intervention in the fast-paced digital landscape. The project serves as a curated editorial space that invites us to pause, observe, and engage with the overlooked details that typically pass us by in the blur of everyday life.

At its core, the project explores the intersection of design, art, and communication. It frames these disciplines not merely as tools for production, but as practices of time. By examining the thresholds, both physical and conceptual, that define our environments and interactions, the project investigates how we perceive space, society, and the environment.

Published as a newsletter on Substack, Threshold Design functions as a research-driven platform where Alessandro Faccin probes beneath the surface of things. It is an exercise in slowing down. The project aims to foster deeper critical reflection on the socio-environmental systems we inhabit and the design processes that shape our world. Through this lens, the project seeks to challenge our standard modes of consumption, turning the act of reading and observing into a mindful exploration of the in-between.
